  • Recognize main ideas by listening to 4 scripted recordings twice and filling in the blanks with three or four words in the charts and circling the best answer from the options A, B and C in the task sheets provided
  • Recognizing supporting details by listening to 2 scripted recordings and filling in the blanks with three words and circling the best answer from the given options in the task sheets provided

Success criteria
I will be successful if the students could obtain 50% correct of the exercises given
Activities
Starter
Brainstorming on “Environments” and listing vocab the students will hear in the listening recordings
Lesson Development
  • The teacher distributes the task sheets and go through them with the students
  • The teacher plays the recordings twice and the students complete the task s in the task sheets provided
  • The students exchange their task sheets and the teacher does class discussing while the students do peer corrections
Plenary
The students wrote a short account on the consequences of global warming of 200 words
